Behind Flavor File
Hi, I’m Mia Oku!

Mia’s Flavor File began as a way for me to collect the meals my husband and I love, so I could easily return to them whenever I needed inspiration or forgot what I did the first time. Let’s be honest, sometimes a meal comes out amazing, and then you can’t remember a single thing you added!
Now, I’m excited to share those recipes and ideas with you. Whether you are brand new to cooking and need beginner-friendly guidance, or you are an experienced cook looking for fresh inspiration, welcome to my page.
Mia’s Flavor File will continue to grow as my husband and I try new meals, discover new flavors, and create memories in our home. Have an idea, a suggestion, or simply want to chat? Feel free to send me a message.
I’m so excited for the food journey we’ll be taking together. And remember, the secret ingredients are always love and Adobo 😉

What you need
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 packets Swiss Miss Decadent Hot Chocolate Mix
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 6 tbsp softened butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 tbsp caramel coffee creamer
- 2 large marshmallows, cut into small pieces
Cooking timeline
- 0:00Prepare
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a 6-cup muffin pan and cut the marshmallows into small pieces with kitchen scissors.
- 0:05Mix the dough
Whisk together the flour, Swiss Miss, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the butter, egg yolks, heavy cream, and caramel coffee creamer and mix until a soft dough forms.
- 0:10Fill the pan
Fold most of the marshmallow pieces into the dough. Divide among 6 muffin cups and gently press the dough down without packing it tightly. Press the remaining marshmallow pieces on top.
- 0:14Bake
Bake for 14–16 minutes. The tops should look set, the edges lightly golden, and a tester near the edge should show moist crumbs rather than wet batter.
- 0:30Cool
Cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Run a butter knife around the edges and gently lift the cookie cups out.
Trust Me on This: Enjoy them warm for gooey marshmallow centers or let them cool completely for a fudgier texture.
